Message from The President

Dear Colleagues and Visitors,

Welcome to the homepage of the Asian and Oceanian Child Neurology Association (AOCNA). Our association is dedicated to advancing and disseminating knowledge in the field of pediatric neurology. The Asia and Oceania region, home to the largest population of children in the world, is rich in diverse cultures and environments, making our mission both challenging and rewarding.

Our primary goal is to enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of pediatric neurological disorders. We focus on a wide range of conditions, including epilepsy, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, and genetic neurological diseases. These conditions can place a significant burden on children and their families, making accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment essential.

AOCNA is committed to fostering collaboration among specialists across our region, recognizing the unique characteristics of each area. By working together, we strive to create better healthcare environments and improve the lives of children affected by neurological disorders.

We also warmly invite pediatric neurologists to join our association. Membership in AOCNA provides opportunities for professional development, access to the latest research findings, and a platform to connect with fellow experts dedicated to advancing pediatric neurology. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families across Asia and Oceania.

I hope this website serves as a valuable resource for our activities and the latest developments in pediatric neurology. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to your continued support and collaboration.

Sincerely,

Shinichi HIROSE

President of AOCNA
